The Umuigbo United Assembly (UUA) Worldwide has inaugurated a 25-member National Organising Committee for its much-anticipated National Summit scheduled to hold in Abuja on November 29, 2025, with the theme “Recover and Restore the Youths of the Nation.”
The inauguration, which took place virtually on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, was presided over by the President-General of UUA Worldwide, Evangelist Ambassador Raphael C.D. NwaDavid.
In his inaugural address, Evang. Amb. NwaDavid welcomed participants and expressed confidence in the capacity of the committee members to deliver a successful summit. He noted that their nomination was based on integrity and proven experience, urging them to invest their personality, influence, and contacts in ensuring the success of the Abuja 2025 Summit.
He further explained that the decision to expand the committee to 25 members was to guarantee fair representation across all UUA structures, stressing the importance of inclusivity in the task ahead. The President-General thereafter officially inaugurated the committee, naming Hon. Marcel Ezenwa, UUA National Contact and Mobilization Officer, as Chairman; Princess Nne Nana Onwodi, UUA National Woman Leader, as Vice Chairman; Comrade Nwokocha Ogbonna, UUA Northern Chairman, as Secretary; and Barr. Joy Okwaraugo, UUA Lagos Legal Adviser, as Assistant Secretary.
Charging the committee, NwaDavid urged members to remain focused and united in pursuit of the goals of the summit. He prayed for divine wisdom, guidance, increased ability, and special grace for them to succeed in their assignment.
Responding on behalf of the committee, Chairman Hon. Marcel Ezenwa expressed appreciation to the President-General for the confidence reposed in the team. He assured that members would contribute positively toward impactful planning and execution, while stressing that the summit theme focuses on the critical task of youth recovery and restoration as a national priority.

Ugochukwu Ugwa, Prince Henry Eleogu, Chief Barr. Eugene Eneh, Ozonma Chief Barr. Chidi Nobes Elendu, Barr. Joy Okwaraugo, Evang. Ann Ujunwa David, Hon. Sam Ejikeme, Chief Hon. Mrs. Nelly Okafor, Hon. Lady Mrs. Esther Awah, Hon. Mrs. Ngala Anambra, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Ugwu, Chief Kingsley Akudigwe, Ogbuefi Raphael Njirika, Lady Mrs. Nonye Eze, Amb. The President-General, while congratulating the appointees, reminded them that the UUA’s mission transcends regional concerns, calling for collective effort to build Igboland in particular and Nigeria at large. “Together we must live in peace and prosperity,” he declared.
The UUA Abuja Summit 2025 is expected to draw national attention to the challenges facing Nigerian youths and mobilize collective strategies for their recovery, empowerment, and restoration.
