Nigeria, Wednesday evening lost a fearless and fiery human rights lawyer, Bamidele Aturu.
Aturu died at 49 following a brief illness, according to his bosom friend, Olarenwaju Suraju. He died in Lagos.
Aturu was popular for his criticism of government’s policies especially where such policies do not meet the expectations of the people.
